Bilingual Program

Bilingual Preschool

We offer a unique curriculum with low teacher to child ratio. Our environment is designed to promote exploration, adventure and imaginative play. We believe that children are active participants in their own learning. That’s why we encourage them to ask questions and explore the world around them. Our program focuses not only in the Spanish language inmersion but also in cultural inmersion. We believe by identifying and integrating the cultural knowledge, prior experiences, and the varied learning and participation styles of students, we can make learning more effective.

Our Program

  • Our preschool program works 5 days a week from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. In our classroom we have a mixed class of children from 2 1/2 to 6 years of age. This program gives our students the opportunity to be exposed to Spanish for 6 hours each day, 5 days per week while learning Math, Science, Social Studies, Dance, Music and Visual Arts.

  • The overall learning goal in our program it is to build a strong foundation of basic skills in our students so that they experience success when moving onto more challenging Kindergarten Programs.

  • One other key element of our program is giving children ample time to engage in child-directed play. Play is one of the first steps in the learning process and we view play as a gift that all children innately possess.

  • We take advantage of our School location in the heart of Interlaken Park and walking distance from Arboretum and Volunteer Park, which is why we take the kids every day to explore and play outside RAIN OR SHINE.
